do you remember a fish oil news

about half year ago, a news about a mom who gave too much fish oil to BB and then the BB need to see doctor or go into hospital. who do remember the detials because I would like to give fish oil to my BB but I am afraid of giving him too much like the news.

There are too many types of fish oil. Some are for bone development, some are for brain development......etc. So, firstly, you have to idenfity the reason why you want to give fish oil, and it's better to consult your family doctor before picking any types of fish oil from drug store.

Thanks your info. For brain development, do you know which one I should buy. And also, some people said that give fish oil to BB after 2 yrs old. Do you have any info about this point.

You can get more information about Omega 3 Fish Oil from the below link. Hope it is useful to you.

My daughter took Omega 3 Fish Oil since 8-month-old under doctor's advice. Now, she is 15 months.

In terms of price, it is quite expensive. I don't know the exact price, because every time I'd take with other vitamins, so I don't really know the unit price of each vitamins. I guess, it is around $150-200 per 50ml.

I went shopping today and see many many different brands for fish oil. All brand said that they have the purest & high quailty fish oil. I really don't know which one I should choose. May I know which one do you buy as a reference.

As far as I know, my doctor directly ordered the fish oil from overseas pharmacy (sorry I really don't know the brand/pharmacy name), so it's not easy for you to find one in HK. And, as the fish oil is "freshly made", so it can't be kept for a long long period. My doctor wil order the fish oil shipment by shipment depends on demand in order to keep its freshness. Each time, he will only give me a max. of 2 weeks' fish oil.

Thus, pls discuss with your family doctor, he may be able to give you advice. Pls don't 是但 buy any from local pharmacy.

Thanks a lot! If my BB has chance to see doctor, then I will ask him. But I think not many doctors will order fish oil for patient. could you pm your doctor's info to me because he doesn't has family doctor yet (my BB is only 6 mths) and I am also looking for a family doctor for my BB
