Please help!!!
I will bring my son to Sydney on 29-7-2005. Is it ok to bring the milk when I immigrate ? Is it easy to buy the baby food? Do I need to buy the distilled water for my boy or it's ok to drink the boiled water? Many questions but thanks in advance.
I think it's better that you bring the milk powder that you son drinks. It is not that you can't buy baby food (no shortage of supply at shopping malls), just that those available might not taste the same as the current ones. Babies are sometimes very fastidious about milk.
Boiled water for baby is OK.
Sydney is a modern city (though not as modern as HK in some aspects), don't worry!
It is okay for you to bring baby formula into Australia, but must be unopened and remember to declare it - they didn't check mine at all.
It is very easy to baby food in Sydney and the variety is greater than Hong Kong. The water in Sydney is actually better than HK so, it's okay to drink the boiled water.
You will find that the baby facilities in public places are much better than HK. Have fun!
