my friend just deliver the baby last week. She has flat nipples so the baby girl can't suck and eat properly. Then the nurse told her to buy a shield and now with no problems anymore.

One of my friends has inverted nipples, and she has to express her breast milk and successfully breastfeeded her three boys for 6 months each.
