I have books that I bought with my Montesorri package, which is some nursery rhymes to recite loudly to her, some bed time story to read to her, and some concept story to explain to her (for example to brush teeth, to eat herself etc)
I also bought some hardpaper books for her to turn over herself
I usually read to her the words and now she already know several stories
Usually she wants me to read over and over again ( by turning the books to the front page again when I have finished). After about 10-20 times, she would take up another book for me to read or she will yawn (!!!) and tries to get off the sofa to play
I suggest whatever book you try, to read loudly to her and to repeat again and again becuase child of this age loves repeating gestures and words
