My baby loves to sleep and she likes to sleep on her back. We always put her on the side position when sleeping but then eventually she'll turn and sleep on her back again. This is making her head flattened. It is getting more and more flat and I want it to stop!!
my baby's head is very flat on the right and he was referred to seeing a specialist. but we have been waiting for a month already and don't know when he can see the specialist. but i found his head seems better after a month since i give him more tummy time and hold him more to just avoid him lying on the back if he is not sleeping.
i didn't realize there are specialist to cure flat heads! well, I dont think she's serious enough to see a speicalist, but it just bugs me a lot. You see, she sleeps long hours, anywhere from 6-7 hours straight at nights. I've tried to give more tummy times too, but she hates it. She can only lie on her tummy for 2 minutes then starting to cry.
My elder daughter's head was also flattened when she was around 2 months old, it was same case as yours. I tried to rub her head but not much use, now she is 3 years old, the back of her head is still very flat. But when she has more hair, it isn't too obvious. Basically there's not much we could do. :-(
