Pacifier did help to sooth my baby when he was round a month old but after hearing the cons of using pacificer, I decided to help him quit. He was not used to it for a few days and then switched to his thumb. I think it is best NOT to give pacificer to babies. If you did, better help him quit, the earlier the better.
