Hotel in Bangkok

Any comments on Meritus Suites State Tower ?
Has anyone been stayed in this hotel before ?
Any facilities that are suitable for 8 years old kid ?

我3月去住過, 好正. 我比85分, 不過有個問題, 就係我係airport by taxi去酒店冇問題, but係街, 好多的士都唔識去(因為係新酒店)個次好慘, 好辛苦先返到酒店, 不過依家耐左, 應該好多的士識去既.

酒店本身, d room好大好新好靚, view靚到暈, 早餐都幾好, 係個swimming pool我覺得一般o者

有次重比個司機兜路, 好在我老公都認得下遮.

酒店行去空鐵都要成10mins, 若果選擇全程打的都5係問題既.

Meritus房大.無敵靚景.
但裝修唔算豪華.交通麻麻.經常塞車.
拿著酒店名片,加句簡單泰語.打的應該OK.
從酒店後門行去BTS站,約5-10分鐘.
至於適合小朋友的設施...房間內有DVD機,可以播碟(自備)
泳池就得啖笑.聊勝於無.

如果打算shopping為主.建議住chitlom附近.

Thanks you all for the precious information.
I don't think that I would be staying there after all. As I am looking for accommodation with good swimming facilities for my family.
Perfer I would choose Peninsula or Sukhothai Hotel.
Any comments on these hotels ????

我9月3日都去bangkok, 今次就book左shangri-la, 我都係第一次住, 希望ok喇.

peninsula 6星酒店, 我都想試下

我睇過shangri-la個swimming pool都ok

I came back from BKK last week. I stayed in Peninsula this time.

I think its room & breakfast are excellent. Location - ok la, shuttle boat pier next to BTS station, and the schedule of the boat is very frequent... it's really a pleasure to enjoy the boat trip... But there is no particular facilities for kids... the swimming pool is fine, but all 1.2m deep... perhaps ok to your 8 year old kid, but not mine... :cry: And for the service I think it's just ok... perhaps I have expectation... for hotels of this class & price they should provide excellent service, right?

Sukothai - you need to think about its location, not close to BTS or MRT station gar...

Holiday Inn Bangkok在3月先新裝修開業,隔離就係BTS自遊行最方面,附近又多百貨公司行(有central,zen&big c),酒店外面一到夜晚就好旺有好多街邊檔及小食檔(有個伯伯賣的串燒好好食

). 房間有齊牙刷及拖鞋請開心,我九月去都會住這間酒店

頭腦相當靈活(轉數快),有大將風範,領悟力相當高,做任何事愛親力親為,屬機會主義者,懂得精打細算,但愛面子(敏感於別人怎樣看自己),有責任心,欠表達力及創意,要學習培養探求精神(因欠疑心)、耐性及愛心。

你住new/old wing呀?我黎緊會住new wing (corner wing),唔知好唔好呢?早餐如何?會唔會得好少野食?

central 在後面,zen在前面,big c在右面,好近架咋, 現在仲新開左條天橋可以由酒店可行到去siam

. 燕窩, 魚翅最好去china town食.

You can also try Nei Lerk Park Hotel (ex Hilton) very good and near to shopping point.

I also booked Shangri-la for my trip w/ families fm 8/28 - 8/31. Do you know how much around fm airport to hotel if take by taxi ?? It seems far away fm airport......

I lived in Shangri-la hotel before and choose the river -view room. The river-side view and the swimming pool is excellent. It gives me a resort feel just like the hotel in Phuket. Also, the breakfast is good at there.

But that hotel is far away to the main shopping center like World Trade Center. If you buy the taxi, it may affected by the traffic jam.

I will live that hotel for my next trip because i really love the swimming pool and view.
