I stayed in mandarin oriental, but I remember I need to walk over 15 mins via shopping mall to MRT. However, I feel very tired to walk back to hotel after whole day trip. So that I book Fairmont Hotel which easy access to MTR station

bbeasy25, could you please tell more about Fairmont Singapore? E.g. how near is it to MRT, any good shopping mall nearby, any must-try food you can recommend? Many thanks.
I don't really know Fairmont hotel since I will stay in coming July. Tt should be located at City Hall, just a few mins walk from MTR. I had been singapore once with 2 years old son, so that I didn't try 熟食中心.
I prefer Fullington bay hotel than mandarin oriental. Fullington bay is next to the lake and has recently renovated. Last year I stayed at Sands hotel which is at the opposite coast of the lake, and I saw it from a distance, I think it is quite beautiful and really wanted to stay there next time if I go to singapore. Actually you can walk along the lake and there are many scenery spot, e.g.魚尾獅, Esplanade theatre etc.. And Lau Pa Sat is not very far away too.
