I lived in Vancouver b4, but I am in HK now and I miss Vancouver 's living environment. I am planning to back to Canada too. Are you a working mom? I am not. My son is just turn 2. I think I will wait until he is 3 ..
Actually I was back from State last 3 yrs, but I lived in Toronto over 12 yrs, then I move to State for work 3 yrs, I miss Toronto and State very much, but I want stay with my mom, cuz she go kidney disease I want spend time with her, that's why I moved back to HK now. But when my son being over 10yrs old I maybe move back to Toronto.
How about u guys planning?
I had lived in Vancouver for 8 years and returned to Hong Kong in 1995 after finishing my university education... honestly... I do miss Vancouver's living environment too... very relaxing and comfortable... it's just a fantastic place for enjoying life...
I have been married for 2 years... and haven't had a kid yet, but my husband and I are planning to "make" 1 soon.

I had been lived in Montreal for 10 years and back to Hong Kong in 1995. I have one kid and planned to move back when he is in grade 3. I miss Montreal very much because the living environment is so nice.
I had never been in Vancouver, planning to go this x'mas to visit my sister there.
Suppose I was back to Toronto this summer, but my sister asked me to go to THailand with them, that's why I delay my schedule back to Toronto on next yr. But I think this is good choice for me, since my boy is 2 yrs now, he is being the terrible 2, if he need take the long flight, it must drive him crazy. Lucky as me this yr we went to Japan, Thailand and Singapore, he did the good job, no any bad response, just sleep and watching his DVDs.
Be honest I suggest if you need to take the long flight with the kids, better before 15months or after 3 yrs, then it won't distrub others hehe
I lived in Vancouver for about 5 years and came back to HK in 1995. My mom & sister are living in Van and I usually go back to Van once a year. I got married in HK and now have 2 sons both born in HK. I miss the living environment in Van very much and really hope to go back, but my hubby's business is right now tiring up in HK & China and I don't think we can go back for good in the near future.
I am planning to back to Canada when my son is 3. I think this is the good time for him to learn English. Also, HK kids is more like to watch tv and buy the elegant and expensive things, I hope my son will grow up in a simple and pure environment. What do you guys think?
PS: I dont want to push him in those popular school and give him so much pressure.

I'm totally agree what you say!!
I donno why they're really selfish. When u take the MTR, KCR, if you're pregant or if you're hold the baby or you're elder, ppls like to predent they're sleeping or can't see you, never give the seat for someone need. That's I got fully experience with that. I feel disappointed with them, they don't have their public educated with themselves.....
