What is yr's BB daily scheulde on feeding and sleeping
Let's share our BB's living pattern on drinking and sleeping. My Hong Hong is poor :-( . He cannot set up a regular pattern yet. Sometimes drink after 2 hr, sometimes after 4 hrs. He like to drink when he feel sleepy at daytime.He still wake up at 4 am. Do you have any good method to train BB have a good living pattern ?

iriswk, r u breastfeeding your bb? mine is formula-fed, so it's easier to set a routine... i feed my bb every 3.5 to 4 hours... everyday the same... at 7:30am/11:30am/3:00pm/6:30pm/10:30pm...
my bb sleeps a lot.. i usu wake him up 30mins before feeding time, then change his nappy, play with him for a while & then feed him... after feeding, will burp him & play with him for a while & put him to bed at least 1/2 hour after finishing his meal... he'll normally sleep until the next meal... & we bath him just before his 10:30pm meal... & he'll sleep through the night...
if u want to set a routine, i think u have to be tough on him... say u'd like to set the meals to be 4 hours apart, then even if he cries after 2 hr, don't feed him with milk, give him water & let him have milk at the set time... he'll get used to it gradually... (but if u r breastfeeding him, that won't work coz b-feeding should be on demand basis ga ma...)...
some ppl think it's too harsh on the bb to live on a routine when he's this young... but i'm a "for" routine mum...

My bb's schedule is like this...
6:30am milk( Usually I wake my bb up)
10:15am milk
2:00pm milk
1:XX bath
in the morning usually he sleeps less than 2 hours
after 2pm, he may sleep for 3 to 4 hours
5:45pm milk
after that, he may sleep less than an hour
9:45 milk then sleep overnight
When bb was 4-5 wk, I started to help him quit midnight milk. I fed him at 00:00. Gradually, he can sleep longer and longer. Now, I plan to feed him at 9:30pm(so that I can have more time to work).

It is so nice for yr BB. Mine is difficult to control. I have tried to set to feed every 3-3.5 for last two days. It seem OK for him. He will not ask too early.
However, I find a new problem. he will be very sleepy at the time of feeding. He struggle, angry and cry for 10 - 20 min. He don't like the bottle (with breast milk). I am not sure the reason. May be he cannot handle both sleepy and hungry at the same time. Besides, I observe him searching my breast or my maid's breast. May be he like the breast feeding. This case will not happy before :-(
Do you have any good method to train BB have a good living pattern ?
