I think you must need to take your BB to see doctor, but rather go to hospital or not, just up to you.
I don't like hospital, I think there will be very dirty, so if my BB is not very serious, I will not take her there.
But you must know why your BB be fever and your BB is still ok.
Last time my BB fever 39.5, I also let her stay at home, as she still willing to play, but only fever, so I just take her to see doctor and than stay at home and always let her play water and take bath.

If BB takes medicine, the temperture will come down but after 4 hours, the temperture go up again, is it normal ?
She already visited doctor morning, but don't have fever whole day until 9, I don't know why. Doctor said she may have 3 kinds of reason. 出诊，尿道炎or common cold. The result of 尿道炎 will know tmr.

My bb just have 玫瑰疹. Just sharing my case that she also takes medicine and the temperture come down; but after 4 hours, the temperture go up again. Nothing to do, but I keep on checking the temp. and help her 暖水抹身散熱 and also keep on taking medicine even in the mid-night. At least her temp not going up to 38度again, just 微燒for 2-3 days. hope yr. baby recover soon :-P

Dear all moms
Thanks a lot yr sharing. BB don't have fever from yestersday night because her body has 疹 come out. I will see doctor in the afternoon to see what kind of 疹. This is the 1st time BB has fever as I deeply feel 做媽媽真係唔易
