What I recommand is ask the maid to sign the one month notice and tell her your service can't satisfy this family, now I give you one month to reform. If I dont see any improvement in one month then you need to go!!
My new Indonesian maid is the same
She never answered/looked at my face when I am talking to her but she is kind of afraid of her agent and she needs money so I still willing to spend some time to modify her scornful attitude.
I teach her she needs to put both of her hands at the back and look at my face when I talk to her and can not rely on anything!!
I will write down everything black and white and let her follow everyday working schedule including lunch time.
6. 唔明扮明, 第三日係我屋企, 整欄個long3架, 要成個換, 又用左350元, 一d悔意都無 - you have the right to ask her to pay it.
8. 頭先開飯時, 成碟送倒左在枱上, sorry都無 - you can tell her she is supposed to apologize and pay for the cost of the food!! You owe us/me an apology not because you are the MAID, its because you did sth wrong and even you are barely educated, you will still say sorry!!
But if she still not listen to you and always thinking she is the boss then you better fire her, ask her to sign the one month notice because her service can't satisfy your family and give her one month to reform. If you dont see any improvement in one month then she needs to go!
