My wife just bought one. Smartxxx has special price: $2280 if you change to their network and use a plan of $80+. Not sure if the promotion is over or not.
Sorry I cannot give you much comments as I'm not the actual user. My wife has used it for about 2 weeks and is OK with it.
For pda-phone or smartphone, I think you have to list out your requirements/expectations such as scheduler, sync with MS outlook, user interface, etc., and then do some simple comparison on available products. The "Choice" magazine did a comparison on some popular smartphones earlier. You may take a look.
