Not a must. Normally reference letter will be given by HR on your last day and it will simple describe your name, ID card no., title and working period only.
yes. normally HR will send out a standard one. or if you are closed to your boss, could ask your boss to give you a personal reference letter (of course still using company letter head). that's what i did....
our HR will give a standard reference letter, very simple, only staying your working period and position. HR also have guidline for the management not send personal reference letter to resigned employees.
