my boy's doctor gives us a medicine to cure the coughing since he's a baby. the doctor/nurses advised us to keep a bottle of it at the fridge for use.
we have been using it for almost 7 years (but my boy just overcame coughing for 4 times in these years). i'm not sure if it's right to introduce medicine, anyway please note the name of it:
rhinathiol (syrup for infants 2%) - expectorant carbocisteine
(manufacturer: sanofi winthrop industrie in france)
it can be found to any pharmacy shops and it's not expensive. as if u cannot find any suitable chinese medicine doctor, it's no harm to try that.
