My previous helper did share the bedroom with my son. I bought a sofabed for her at seahourse (about $900). It's very good and still looks new after four years. It just takes two minutes to fix the sofabed and beddings in the morning and also she could sit on it when she read books or played with my son. I won't consider to let a helper to sleep together with the kids because of personal hygiene. Moreover, it's hard to train the kid to sleep alone when he grows up.
