Hi! My fd's son is also like that ...
He is now 13 years old. His check up when he is in the primary, the Dr. told my fd that her son might need to have the same operation did (at least 5 years ago!)...the Dr. also asked her to did the same "exercise" for him, then...every year she go to have the check up (arrange by the school & the Govt) , the Dr. still asked her to do the same...
As her son is already big, I forgot she told me since when she asked her son to did it (exercise) himself, upto now, he is ok law~!
I remember I asked her last time (few mos ago), she said she will consult the Dr. on the check-up next time.....hope her son & your son will no need to have the operation la!
