Mine is a Philipino, she came 13/12, so far so good at least she is quite smart. For cleaning, not bad and listen to me. My first piority is baby caring, hopefully she can handle.
Mine is also a Philipino. She arrived last Wed. So far very good. No mistake. Smart and hard-working. She has six years of exp. in Singapore. Speak good English, understand Cantonese and speak a little. That's great because my mother and my mother-in-law can teach her how to cook (I don't know how to cook well.)
She is hard-working, cleaning very good. Cooking also very good. Actually, she knows how to cook many different dishes and makes suggestions on her own.
So far, very helful, seems to be reliable.
On the other hand, we are also very good employers too. She has her own bedroom, WC. Work from 7 to about 10. I tell her that she can take rest when she finished her work on that day.
Her duites are mainly cleaning, washing and cooking. I will take care of the baby myself.
At the very beginning, it was quite strange to have another person in the apartment. But now, I discover the advantage of it too: When my husband go out with me now, we have the special feeling of 拍拖 again - just like before we get married.
You are so lucky to have such an experience maid and very helpful. Mine also quite smart and hardworking. She works for the community as a midwife before, it will be proved after my baby's born. The only is she doesn't know how to cook, will have to teach her, the agent will train her every Sunday (on her day off) for 8 weeks free. I agree employer also need to show their respectfullness to them too.
