I breastfed my boy till he was 7-mth-old. All the milk he drank was bumped-out.
For me, it is good as I knew how much he drank and had the milk added on for an interval of time (eg from 3oz to 4 to5oz from 1mth to 2mth....). And I could push, actually not push but try the best to let him drink the milk at one time.
But how much he drink is depending on how concentrate your milk is as everytime the quality of milk is different e.g. it is more concentrate/thick/oily if you sleep better, eat more, rest more...

首先, your BB is 3 weeks old, may be "猛長期", pls refer to the Master Glad 's topic of this......
Second , if you pump out the milk, of course it is easily to know how much he drink and the timetable, but you have to take much time to pump and clean the bottlesss.
Even thought the above, I also pump all milk and feed to my Boy in bottles after 1st month, because i need to work and he is take care by 婆婆 & 公公. But i want him eat good, so i do to do so.
i pump around 26-28 oz daily for his next day meal.
