I know that many don't pay 禮金 at all now, but there are exceptions. I have friend received 1 million dollar

i don't know whether it is requested by the bride or not. The bride is a doctor herself. I am not sure whether the 老公 is 有錢 or not. But even wealthy man may not be willing to pay $1million. So I think the man really love his wife and respect her family.
