Congestion at Bangkok Airport Immigration Area
As informed by Thai Airways . Please note that Bangkok Airport will now face congestion at all of the immigration areas .
To ensure a smooth travel experience during this period, you should :
1. Arrive Bangkok Airport by flight at your earliest (3 hours prior to standard is recommended) and immediately proceed to immigration formality with complete immigration card after check in.
2. Visa on arrival process will now take 2 hours on average, passengers travelling to Bangkok and onwards to (6CIQ) domestic destinations; Ching-Mai, Chiang-Rai, Hat Yai, Koh Samui, Krabi, Phuket are recommended to get entry visa prior to travelling to Bangkok.
3. Complete the arrival immigration card (mostly provided during the flight) prior to approching the arrival immigration area.
4. The passengers with through check to the 6CIQ domestic destinations should rish and proceed to the first immigration stations located at level 2 intersection between concourse C & D. Passengers should completed arrival immigration card and have ready the passport and second boarding pass.
