How can I read chinese in english windows ?

How can I read chinese in english windows ? Most of the Chinese Webpage I can read by select the " encoding" , but some other " pop up" windows" can't read chinese characters. tks !

You'd better change to a traditional Chinese windows. In this case, you can read and write Chinese as well English without any problem.

I had installed cwin in my pc but the problem is........I tried to change the start page by using the " regit.exe" and after that when I switch on the cwin, the screen is blue colour (as I set my desktop as blue) and I see nothing on the screen, and I can't go back to the " regit" to change the start page to the original one........I guess I have to reinstall the cwin......PBLUE, is there any way I can amend the start page in the cwin ?

my start page was kidnapped before and I couldn't change the start page by " internet options", therefore, I tried to change it by using " edit registry".....and this 's why the desktop apprears only blue colour whenever I turn on the cwin. I can read the chinese characters in the ewin except some of the pop up windows and some downloaded software and also the writing pen...

您呢個情況之前亦有好多網友遇過......
改registry唔係唔得(要好叻好熟windows先好試...)；but唔主張一般人去搞囉.....(我都唔曉 :tongue: )
您試下antivirus / spyware scan / ad-aware scan諸如此類去chk下仲得唔得囉.....

I tried to amend the set up details on edit registry and it worked, so when it happened again (I mean the start page was kidnapped), I did the same thing, but this time the start page couldn't be amended due to one of the " strange file" (which can't be deleted). Now it's too late to use the spyware (actually I did use it everytime after I get on internet), cos I only see blue desktop without any icons, I don't know how to put back the icons on the desktop. If I can see the icons, then I can try to work it out. Anyway, Thanks a million for your help, ChunChun_Daddy .

睇黎您個O.S.9成花左，唔知係您郁過registry定係中毒累事；anyway，您都係重裝windows把啦，最好做埋ghost image咁再有乜E郁都有個backup頂住丫嘛，right?

In Windows XP, there is a Recovery Console mode in setup. You can choose this by booting up the Windows XP CD-ROM, and select "R" in menu.

It will re-install all Windows files but still keep your documents, programs and files.

By the way, you should consider "Firefox" for security reason.

I'm using Windows ME only, not XP.

I guess it's because I 郁過registry (many many times and amended many many set up there) and it makes all the icons disappeared on the desktop but the blue colour desktop.
