If your daughter studies in rmkg, she'll definitely be fluent in both english and mandarin. Also, students are required to learn "DI ZI GUI " at kindergarten level. In addition, their standard of reading and writing Chinese characters is really high, but I don't think they are under high pressure because i always see their happy faces at school, i had a few school tours in rmkg before. Though im not a parent of rmkg, i really feel impressed and it's a very good school.
My daughter has been attending mandarin playgroup at kinder u for 1 yr n the tutor is good at teaching babies n able to catch their attentions. I would let my girl to continue with rmkg.
My frd's kids studied there n they seem to be sufficiently confident and manageable .
I think it is a good school if you want your kid to learn words rather than play at school. It has quite a lot of school activities that are very expensive. I really want to join but I find some of them are too expensive to join.
If u really concern your kid's acedemy, I do recommend you to go there. However, if your kid is a girl, I think she should try the kinder that has primary and secondary school as well.
My girl is in PN class now, if i prefer her to study local stream primary school, do i really need her to change to other kindergarten in K3? Is it due to not much homework to do in Rightmind (or other reason?), thus need to change back to a more traditional kindergarten in K3 for better prepare for the primary school life? In PN class, she has no homework at all up to now, are there any homework in K1? Thanks!
Hi, I would definitely prefer you switch to local kindergarten when it's K3. As you know the teaching and learning atmosphere in Rightmind is quite relaxing, I hope my children to cope with the amount of homework in primary school as well as tests. Thus, i did my move and still I am so glad that I dare to take that move. My son is now more adaptable to the environment in primary school.
(1) the homework is quite relaxing and not demanding in the mind of amount.(2) As their teachers are quite passionate in teaching, I dont see any unfair cases happened before.
(3) Yes, they did.
