My poor baby has fallen 3 times within an hour after the house cleaning service today! 1st time was ok, but 2nd time she fell on the back of her head. The 3rd time I didn't spot it, but the inside of her lip was cut by her teeth and bleeding!
Don't know why the floor is so slippery after the cleaning this time!! I told them to use just diluted vinegar water to clean the floor as usual, and we clean the floor that way every week and had never had any problems before.
The owner of the cleaning company is busy and didn't come over today. So his brother came with 2 younger ladies that I'd never seen before. I called his brother and asked if they had used anything else other than the diluted vinegar water to clean the floor. He said they didn't use anything but vinegar. I thought even if they did, he wouldn't admit it!
Sigh .... I really don't know if I should keep hiring cleaning service or I should clean the house myself! But it's hard for me to find the time to clean the whole house while taking care of 2 kids and 1-year-old really needs my full-time attention.
I've been using this cleaning service for many times and I was kinda satisfied with their quality, but this time it's really different with different staffs coming over.
actually the owner of the cleaning company is always busy and he seems not care too much about the new business except for deep cleaning or move-out cleaning.
he was too busy to call off our appointment the last minute for a couple times! but i decided to give him a chance last time and ask for deep cleaning and they did a very good job. however, this time i'm so disappointed!
his brother told me to contact him directly next time when we need service. it seems like the owner "gave away" our business to his brother or assign our job to his brother.
it's just so hard to find a good cleaning service company that you can trust and rely on!

I use Merry Maids but I am considering switching too. They are expensive and this last week.... I basically have to clean again. I called an complaint and they said they would give me a 10% discount. That is nothing! Really need to look for another one!
I am allergic to detergent. Plus I work full time. Really cannot do the cleaning myself! I know how you feel.
My little girl kept waking up last night and I had a couple hours sleep only! I guess she might have had a nightmare after having fallen for a few times within an hour. The wound inside her lip looked like a little infected this morning, so I used salted water to wipe clean it immediately. She's pretty cranky and not eating much today due to the sore wound.
I text to the cleaning owner to see if he knows how to make the floor less slippery but no reply!
My son asked if I'm going to sue the cleaning service company.
I felt so stupid to give them about 15% tips almost every time, and this time I gave them more than 10% tips even I felt that they didn't work as hard as the usual crew! I treat them not bad to give $15-$30 tips each time, right?!
Please let me know if you have any referrals for a good cleaning service company!
You are good bee_happy, you tip them. Because my cleaning service comes every week and they are so expensive that I don't even bother tipping them. Besides, they do such a lousy job that I don't think they deserve it!
