My son is 29months.
I also have the same question before I took my son to consult chinese doctor.
After I boiled the chinese medicine for my son, I try a bit and found that the taste was not same as adult chinese medicine.
The taste is not so strong. It's easy to drink.
I just told my son the medicine is a "black soup" and he likes it very much. He always ask me to give him more and more.
It's quite surprise to me.
