I am not sure which kind of electric kettle you mean. But pls remember you must not buy a kettle with automatic reboil function. Water for feeding baby must be JUST BOILED ONCE ONLT and NOT REBOILED (this is what I read in books and my "

ui Yuet" told me). What you should buy is a thermos flask for keeping hot boiled water. I just use a large stainless steel kettle to boil water and then pour into thermos flask (to keep warm). The remaning water in the kettle I leave it to cool and pour it into a glass flask and use it as cool boiled water for baby.

i think "tiger' and ' zojirushi' are good and reliable,
also panasonic is good.. but they are not cheap, usuually over 500 dollars

I remember having read somewhere that reboiled (by that I mean reboil too many times) water is not good even for adults. The reason being that there are bound to be some substance in the water (e.g. the water pipe or water tank in your building may not be clean) which is harmful and if you reboil the water, the substance will become more and more concentrated. So stop using reboiled water for baby.

But reboil is for dechlorination feature, i.e. 除氯氣 / 臭水; so i always reboil once. As temperature is kept for 98/90/60 degree, why need to reboil many times for one bucket of 2.2L water?

我在my baby出世前在豐澤買左一個日本象印的電熱水煲,3.0L $4xx都幾好用架,價錢又平(比sharp&panisonic平),有兩個溫度選擇(98 or 60度),係一個唔錯既選擇!!但我是在年幾前買唔知現在仲有沒有!

Panasonic，有60/98度水温，電子出水，好似 $700左右！

我用象印,3.0L,有60/98度水温，電子出水,不過唔知現在幾錢,五年前買要$900!現在應該平啲.

但日本城個款好似唔係電子出水, 我就用 Tiger 3L 60/90/98度, 有預定六小時後開機, 但全英文字無中文; 小心如果太細容量的話可能唔夠高放奶樽係台面, 要將個電熱水煲放台邊就危險d呀!

Same! Panasonic，有60/98度水温，電子出水，around $700左右...........nothing is better than national/panasonic!!!

If the price is over your budget, just buy panasonic the most basic model, no reboil function, you boil water by kettle on fire and pour to the 電熱水煲 for keeping warming, around $3XX.
