hang Seng "e-banking Time Deposit interest rate" is very attractive....
let say 1 month's time deposit of more than HKD100K, annual interest rate is 3.2%. I find it is better than Wing Hang.....
Citigold new customer has specials. Taking into consideration the gifts or coupons, yield is even higher than Mevas. I have foreign currency linked deposit at Citigold at about 4.9%, but if the currency drop below strike price, I have to buy the currency using my HKD. I chose a pretty safe strike price and the yield is lower. For more aggressive strikes, interest up to over 10%.
But Mevas HKD savings got highest rate always. I think 3.25% for deposit over $50,000.
my standard chartered savings account (disney account with kids name attached) 3.65% for deposit over $150,000.
