泵奶器 - Advice Needed

I have breastfeed for 2 months and plan to continue breastfeeding after going back to work. Hope to breast feed at least till my baby is 6 months old.

Now I have a Medela Mini Single pump at home to pump out the milk for my husband to feed the baby sometimes. Most of the other time, I will breastfeed my baby directly.

I'd like to at least express the milk for at least 3 or 4 times when I go to work in April. (Pump maybe 1 or 2 times at the office). I'd like to have another pump since I know from bk that pumping two sides together can yield more milk. And the Medela Single Pump is quite noisy.

Would you advice me which way is better for me:
1. Buy another single pump (manual or electric)
2. Buy which brand of double electric pump
3. Buy or rent one is more economical?

avent 手泵啦,又唔貴around $300,又輕又方便,又好用!!

For me, I think Avent manual + Medela Electric is perfect. Avent manual pump-> economical (around $300), effeicient, silent, light.

Even better than the Medela Electric, since Manual pump is silent and can pump out those that Electric cannot!

我全部用過晒, 第一次泵在醫院, 姑娘借比我用, 是可租出那種, 之後諗住返工後唔餵, 點知個friend係都話借個泵比我. (medela 電單泵), 泵咗個多月, 買了medela 電雙泵. 感覺快好多. 但係的而且確有摩打聲. 不過當時有好理想的泵奶環境. 有摩打聲一d都唔問題.

到了第二胎, 因泵奶環境改變了, 要到別的部門去借房用, 四周有不同的人, 又唔想逢唔識o既男人解釋我泵奶, 於是
買o左個Avent試下. 好靜, 於是再買多一個變雙手泵用, 但久了, 手總會酸酸痛痛. 回想當年的電泵, 只有吵耳一點吧!


總括:
1. 租Medela professional 電泵
(唔知有冇記錯個名, 醫院可租那個) - 摩打聲較細, 舒服, 但極不方便携帶, 除非長期放在公司.
2. Medela 雙電泵 - 都ok, 不過有嘈音.
3. Avent 手泵 - 靜, 但會手軟.

summer 介紹的medela professional $8xx 租三個月，如果環境容許的話，這是最好的選擇。

Hello every BF mom,

I use Pigeon pump but remember to match up with a power converter 火牛 so that you can use AC instead of battery. It's noisy but very portable.

Besides, I tried the Avent manual pump as well. But the setting is more complicated than Pigeon and it can't fit power converter.

I agree with summer. Avent is excellent, just the hand get too tried.
Beauties, you must be aware on the position when pumping milk, as I gained a shoulder pain serious problem since years ago when I breast feed my 1st child and now with my 2nd child I use Mini Medela during daytime and Avent manual at night (less noise). :-P
