babyfood bowl, spoons - do you sterilize?

do we need to sterilize babyfood bowl, spoons...etc? if yes, do we just put them in the steamer? if no, how about the milk bottles - isn't it "illogical" to steam milk bottles on one hand, and do not steam the babyfood bowl and spoons on the other?

i don't steam bb food bowl & spoons. just wash them thoroughly w/ bb detergent & rinse w/ hot water b/4 each use.
