hi,

my maid is leaving next week. She resigned herself and gave me 2 months notice. I wanna to know about her ID card, should I give it back to immigration dept or she can take it back to Indonesia?

apart from salary, single ticket and $100 transport fee, what else I have to provide her next week?

4 years 3 months.
she went back to home in Dec for 3 weeks (before 2nd contract finish).
now I think I have to pay her annual leave for the 3rd contract which last for 3 months only. Am I right?

does it mean she can bring it back home? or when she leaves HK, customs will get the card from her?

do we need to write a letter to Immigration Dept and inform that this maid is going to leave HK permanently?

I just knew that the company needs to do so if the expatriate leaving HK, then their HKID card will become ineffective.

immd有張form要填番(一份俾工人,一份你keep), 申報工人離職/被炒, 你填左fax/email去, immd會俾番封信你確認收到.

但點解要2months notice? 唔多明.

如果工人主動resign, 你要佢俾封resign letter你, 因為工作了第4-5年工人走, 無清楚交代係工人唔做的話, 轉頭工人告你想逃避長期服務金時你就比較煩了(做滿5年entitle 長服).

樣樣簽好留底, 搵witness / recording 就萬無一失.

姐姐GE ID CARD要俾返佢

我個姐姐幾年前黎過HK,
佢一到步就要去搞返張ID CARD (要俾錢)
我諗佢應該無KEEP張ID CARD,
所以今次拎新ID CARD算補領要錢.

亦事原入境署批VISA前曾聯絡姐姐關於有冇黎過HK & 張ID CARD仲有冇KEEP GE問題

what I mean is she resigned 2 months ago and told me she can work till end of August. So I can have more time to look for a new maid.

by the way, for this 3rd contract (start from May), she only works for less than 4 months, do I need to pay her any money in lieu of annual leave?

how to calculate?
