My Dr. also suggest the followings:
1) Stop feed the milk before sleep as it will make them have a lot of phlegm & they won't recovery soon. (daytime is alright...only at night- stop!)
2) If the bb instead to drink the milk before sleep....try to make it not thick at all. (e.g: 2 spoon powder milk for 60 ml >> make it to 1 spoon for 60ml, etc....)
3) Try to avoid dusty envoirment....especially for the "Air" " tube" "sensitive" cough.
4) Give only warm water & not room temperature water, it can help to disolve the phlegm.
5) Of-course, food which is cold, deep- fried, some kinds of fruit (apple seems ok) can not feed at all!
Hope the above can help!
My girl is also have some cough since yestersday!
I also knew not much about it...
But normally "air tube sensitive" cough will come after the kids/ bb cough for a couples of days. (cough too long)!
E.G.: cough whenever the tempetature change a bit (like: between daytime & night e.g. 6:00pm , early in the morning, while sleeping...)
If u can tell the Dr. when your kids normally cough (? time - most serious), it can help the Dr. to find it out.
As what I mention below, don't give milk b 4 sleep will help not to produce a lot of phlegm, it's worth to try!
My girl's cough is consider ok now!
