why not?? the point is you should not delay salary payment (although there is law says withinin 7 days is ok) as i mentioned earlier, if your helper contracts starts on Jan 1st, you want to 出糧 on the 10th, then for the first month, give her 10-day salary ($3780x12/365 x 10days) then from then on, give her monthly salary (eg. $3780) on the 10th day of each month! and then if either of you want to end contract anytime, lets say on aug.20th; since you already paid her up to aug.10th, you only need to count her salary from aug.11-20 (again, $3780x12/365 x 10days) and then add air ticket cost, travel allowance, any oustanding holiday pay, etc.... on top lor! Of course, cash or cheque to be dealt with the same, provided that you should keep a pay-log, everything document black&white and have her sign every time she receives payment from you and which period the payment covers.
