I have been in Disneyland Hotel last Oct 05. The room is beautiful. U can enjoy the Disney Cartoon and the on-line firework free of charge at room. LCD TV, mini coffee bar, morning newspaper.
My daughter enjoyed a very happy afternoon at the swimming pool.
Overall impression to me is quite good. I go to Disneyland in the next day. We have placed the luggage at the hotel and came back to collect them at night. They also provide a round-trip shuttle bus service amoung the hotels and the Disneyland.
