先要問點解要用Mac?我認為機本上有三類人會用Mac唔用PC: 1. 工作/學習上需要, 因為有部份軟件只有Mac版本或效能較大, 所以只有選用Mac. 2. 身份的象徵, 用Pc cheap, 用Mac設計及價錢都高D. 3. 隨便選, 見佢好似易用, 反正要來都上網, 用同系的Apple產品方便.
若果係考慮埋個小朋友以後學習上的需要, 你就唔應該用Mac,因為大部份學校都唔係用Mac,即使有相同版本或類似的應用軟件, 整個操作流程都唔同, 所以我睇唔到有Mug野理由閣下會改用Mac.
As mentioned, ask urself if u or ur kid need a Mac. If ur kid is with EFS, definitely Mac is what u need. If not, better check with his school. Sure, u could install Windows on a Mac. But, r u serious? If that's the case, why bother with a Mac in the first place?
Upgrade ur PC is another question -- consider compatibility issue. For instance, kid's school is using Office 10 whereas urs are running Office 03, u've better upgrade s/w n h/w.
