What should be the appropriate time for the check up? I guess we want the maid to attend check up so that the employer can be sure if she got serious illness or pregnant before employing her. But if she only do the check up after the new contract starts and she is back to HK again, everything seems to be too late, right? Even if the check up result shows she is seriously ill or pregnant, the employer still has to bear the medical cost. Is that correct?
