fever after injection is so common, take it easy, check the temperature regulary and give the medicine if the temperature over 38 C, don't worry, not a big deal, 1.5 years also need to injection, the effect is more serious, let him take more water, next time, you boil some carrot, waterchest nut, sugar cane soup to him before injecton is better.
fr the MMR injection (1 yr old injection) both gov't and private practice doc offer the same shot so there's no difference btw the two. my son had a slight fever on the 8th day (38.2 or 38.3) so i gave him panadol during the night and the fever went on fr 2 days. don't worry, its usually very mild and in some cases, rashes too, but all symptons should subside within 3 days. IF they don't or worsen, bring yr bb to the doc ASAP as she maybe suffering fm other illness as well.
