DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR HER TRAVELLING EXPENSES FOR SUCH AN EXIT ? I RECALL THAT BEFORE SHE GOES BACK TO INDONESIA AT END OF HER 2- YEAR CONTRACT WTH A 2-YEAR VISA. BUT NOW IT'S ONE YEAR . CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ? THE MAID AGENT I WENT TO HAD CLOSED DOWN ALREADY. T.Y.
I share the same experience with you. My agent told me that this is not the responsibility of the employer to pay for the travel fee, the maid should pay for it. Since her pevious employer has been paid for her return ticket fee even she decided to start her new contract in HK. So, this travel can be understood as her return to her homeland after finishing her pevious contract.
Last time I took my maid to Shanzhan for her annual exit, I requested her to bring her own Otopus, and the travel should take place only on her day off.
