1st Time Miscarriage? Worried of 2nd time...Anyone can Advise?

I just experienced a missed miscarriage two days ago due to Chromosone abnormality. I went for the D&C operation. I am so worried if I would have another miscarriage after this time. Some people experiences tell that they encounter two or more miscariages continuously, one after another. I am just worried. Can anyone share my experience? Is there anyone who had miscarriage before and successful deliver a healthy baby in their next pregnancy? Will the 2nd pregnancy has high chance of this again?[

bloveb...無人可以保證到d咩,記得我04年11月小產完,都會好擔心第2次會唔會又係咁,到我第2次有左,講真,反而原來無咁驚,因為我知道,驚都無咩用,只好用平常心去對待再次懷孕,做好自己要做嘅野..(多休息,去食中藥安胎..等)果時我諗,如果真係要再無,都無計,因為哩d野唔係人可以去控制囉~!

妳睇我d大頭相~我個女"陶陶"呀~

加油呀~只要妳願意,妳都可以好似我同好多小產過嘅人一樣,有一個自己嘅寶寶架~

May I ask you guygs about the time you miscarriaged,were u taken the operation or naturally?
I have a spontaneous abortion(natually11weeks sac) a week )ago. I am afraid I have the same experience again in coming future. Really worried.

Hmm..thanks for the encouragement. I heard to omuch of the recurrent miscarriage stories and make me worry. The doctor advised me to go for D&C operation. After operation not much blood came out...i would said just a few drops only afterthe operation. Doctor said the ss less blood the more successful the operation. Is that true? Doc said i can plan for pregnancy after three months. But i am worried I am too weak for that. I wish I could have a Pig baby next year and paste the photo like what you all do here. I hope i can have two babies by age of 35....

Hi Teletubby,
sorry to hear about that. I think i am as worry as you. Just confirm the baby has no heart beat last Sat and This Wed i went for opearation. I read a number of conversations in one of the topics here and most of them have at least 2 miscarrige and some even 4 and that make me worry a lot. I create this topic just to get opinion from others who get baby after their first miscarriage. I think I should get some positive examples instead of negative coz I need some encouragement for the next planning. Teletuby, Let's "add oil".

HOw old is the sweetie?? Been seeing this Chinese Physician who always said my heathy is poor. I think this is the reason for the miscarriage. But the western Doc said is Chromosome Abnormality. How long u take to have 2nd preg?

teletubby....我04年11月中小產,當時bb差不多12,3週,即日入左威院,佢地幫我塞藥等佢陣痛自己排個bb出黎,最後,我大痛左6個鐘都係唔得,係要dr.幫我夾佢出黎

好la~以前攪掂,休息下就出黎院,點知住左3日,再照話仲有好多組織留喺子宮到,於是我自行出院,搵左私家醫生去浸會做手術,第2日出院囉~ :-(

皇阿米, my husband said your baby very "Tak Yi" and asked how you animate your babay's photo..cute

My doctor never advised me or give me a choice of 塞藥. He just told me to do operation will will have to go back to check next week. If everything is clear than i can started eat "Bou Ban" and visit Chinese Physician. Then if body is okie, i hope to have a pig baby.

Y's Baby & 皇阿米,
is there anything i need to take note b4 i plan for 2nd pregnancy? Do I need to take folic acid and vitamin and mineral supplement. I used to takethe brand Materna before i miscarriage. Some ppl said taking this before pregnancy will increase the chance of getting healthy baby later....

Sorry to hear your last miscarriage experience,actually the doctor said I still have about 4-7mm tissue inside my uterus,but PMH(Lai King) doctor said it will come out in next period because it is small and no blood inside my uterus. May I know you mentioned last time u still have lots of tissue inside, do u have the figure from the doctor? I visited Chinese physican in Kwai Fong(Dr.Late), he mentioned the same thing as the western doctor,u know I am still a bit worried and have taking some "Bou ban"--->Chinese physican said I can take it as no more blood or spotting come out. What is your opinion?

My Doctor told me told me not to see the chinese Physician and not to take "Yok Choy" first. I already started taking "Bou Ban" the next day after the operation as long as no "Yok Choy" is added. Chicken soup with "Fa Gau", "Hiong Lo", sea cucumber should be fine. I heard Bird nest and "Dong Choong Ha Zhou" are good. The food i mentioned above are just for "Yoon" the body not heaty, so it is good. But i was so careless that I showered and washed my hair and now my head is painful. I think the head caught some wind. :-(

Note: Sorry as I do not have a chinese word processing program. I hope you all can understand what i meant with some words above.

Hi Teletubby, I read you story under this topic "小產休息生活" and got to know that you visit this doctor - Dr. Fung. The doctor I am seeing has the same surname. I wonder whether we are seeing the same doctor. Is your Dr's a male with clinic at Causeway Bay?

Hi Bloveb,
The best choice is using ginger water for washing hair and body.If not convenient, pls dry hair immediately by using hairdryer. You feel headache few days ago after washing hair because you just did the opertaion, and the medicine still inside your body and had side-effect,that's normal. Don't worry. You should not feel headache because of washing hair very early. My mother told me about that...u will feel there is a problem when u are getting old.
