Why not consider Canon IXUS 800IS?

It's around $3480.- (with 1G SD card - 150x speed) If you pay by cash, generally, it can save $50-60 too.

I bought it in Mongkok and they also gave me FREE screen protector and IXUS camera bag.

If you do not need 1G SD card, the price is $3300.-
