Want a break, is that okay?

BB is now 9 weeks.... BF 100%. My husband told me today that he really want to take me to Macua for 1 day becuase he said I need to relax.
I know he want time to be with me alone... but I don't really want to go ( even it's for 1 night) coz I'm Bfeeding my boy , I don't want to stop for one day... I 'm afriad this will decrease my milk production.... how to do this??
I don't want to neglect my husband .I know I haven't been paying much attention to him. Time when I''m not feeding my boy.. I'm playing with my 2 year old girl.
Do you think I should go?? if go, how to maintain milk production??

It's hard being a woman, you have to balance your role as wife, and mommy! do you have the same feeling?

I understand you very much and totally agree with you. Being a woman is not easy, especially you bf your baby. It's even HARDER if you go to work (like me) It's really difficult to spend your time properly.
I think you are very lucky because your husband wants to be with you alone. He LOVES you. hehe. It is a good time to relax. But if you really don't want to go, I think you better tell him your feeling. He will understand you.

You can pump your out every few hours and then throw it. It is only one day. It won't affect your milk production.

By the way, travelling is not a good way for relax (for me).

ONE day only! If you pump regularly, you of course can maintain ur milk supply. The problem is whether you can really RELAX during the trip?? Will you still thinking of your baby boy and your little girl?? If you will miss them much during ur trip, can you relly RELAX?? Think of it and frankly tell your hubby what is your feeling. My hubby and I will go for dinner at some nice restaurant if we want some private time. Besides, we will arrange to travel together when go to work and go back home. We of course want to go to somewhere else but we will so miss our boy if away from home. So..... we dont take the best but the better choice.

Dont worry, just one day... I'm a flight attendent I always need to travel but I still b'f my girl, now she is 8 months old. just pump milk out every few hrs to mentain the flow.

go la, go to Macau with your hubby!

You have given so much to your boy and girl everyday and your hubby only asks for one day break! give it to him la....

Although you will definitely miss your bbs, you should just focus on your hubby more on the day out and don't mention too much about your bbs because it may spoil your time together.

Are your bbs in good hands? You have a good helper or your parents are helping you? If yes, spend a nice day with your husband. He deserves it and you deserve a break too!

or you two can explore an alternative.
"Together" private time is important in our marriage!!
We have to learn and practice.

thank youm, guys..

My BB are in good hands becuase my parents and husband's parents + 3 maids... I'm not worry about missing them.. I know if I had a good time , I won't miss... the only thing is my breast..
once I thought about having to bring the pump with me... it somehow feels .
but... like you said, I will go...
he's been so supportive throughout during the past year and he's only asking for one day... it's ust too mean to turn him down...
P.S. I know he has booked a 2 hour spa at the Mandarin ... how can i resist??

Well, if you really find it troublesome, you may skip the pumping for 1 day. I went for a 5-day holiday when my boy was 4 months, who also is exclusively BF.

Cos my pump is electric, I was not able to pump milk for over 24 hours (stuck in the plane). The milk supply did drop but it became normal a few days later after I resumed my routine schedule.

But the best is of course to keep pumping lah. Cos it does hurt if your breast is too full.
