I suggest you bring sun-block lotion, cap, spare clothes, toys for playing sand (e.g., little bucket, spade, etc., usually sold in a set, readily available at any toy shops in summer time). Don't know why, my son Matthew was not afraid of dinosaurs when he was very young, however, he started to cry when he saw the dinosaurs after he was 13 months old. So I would like to know if Carey has similar reactions.
Carey is so lucky to go to the beach tomorrow! Better to let him wear trunks even if you do not plan to let him swim. If you will let him swim, better to bring baby floating car (pump in advance or take a pump with you).

About Ocean Park: We hadn't go yet, because daddy said he's too young, so we planned to bring him there this summer!
About Disney: We gave a briefing to carey before we went there, we arrived there at around 3pm, and wait for parade. He cried when the very big mickey (吹氣)came close. But the dancers made him quite happy. He smiled when he saw the Mickey and Minnie in car. He didn't sleep from he woke up that morning until it's 4:30pm (We are watcing Lion King). He slept in the very noisy theatre so I had to use my fingers to stop the noise for him. He enjoys the rides in Fantasyland?! (magic cup, flying elephant, and the horse one) He cried loudly in the theatre of Mickey Prize Giving Ceremony. Daddy brought him out and waited for us, but it's really enjoyable for me! We wait until 8pm for the firework, he cried at first, but later he loves to! It's my experience!
About beach: He loves the sand, he eagers to walk and play on the sand, and then we brought him close to the water and tried the waves. He seemed afriad at first, but later he loves to!
Carey loves exciting things as I experienced, he can't concentrate in one particular thing for a long time, is it your bb's situation?

Thanks for your sharing. Matthew normally behaves quite good whenever there's something to attract his attention. For example, he was very sleepy before the Mickey Prize Giving Ceremony. But when the show started, he immediately concentrated and watched the show. After the show ended, he seemed to remember that he should sleep. So he made some noise to express his discontent. I fed him and he fell asleep immediately. When we waited for the Lion King show, he was not quiet. But when the show started, he concentrated on the show.
Re: Beach. He loves the sand and the water. He likes to splash in the water. He laughs when he has water all over his face.

It's great that Carey enjoyed the sand and water. We also tried to bring Charis to the seaside. She was also a bit scared at first when the waves rushed to the shore. Later, she loved it and enjoyed it. I let her hands reach out for the water. I think she really enjoyed this brand new experience.
Talking about Disneyland, it seems that most babies are not contented in the dark noisy theatres. Almost all the babies discussed in the 0503 BK Mami Club had to be taken outside and someone (an adult) had to give up watching the shows to take care of the baby. Charis loves Mickey, Minnie, Pooh, Donald Duck, Pluto ... very much. I wonder if she can stand the dark and noisy environment and stay with us to see the shows if she sees her favourite cartoon figures.
Matthew first went to Disneyland in April (13 months). We took him there again on May 31 (his brother's birthday - Matthew was almost 15 months).
For both occasions, he enjoyed the Mickey Prize Giving Ceremony and the Lion King Show very much. He would make noise while waiting for the shows to start but he behaved very good during the shows.

Thank you so ... very much. Your piece of information sounds so encouraging to me. I may consider taking Charis to the Disneyland if it seems that there is a possibility that she likes the shows.
