懂少量英文, 有電視睇佢會梘睇英文台.不過佢唔爛睇和于不會私自開嚟睇.

幾醒目,好勤力, 煮飯同清潔ok...因為星加坡無香港咁高人工

my Indo maid had worked for 2 yrs in Singapore before she started her contract in HK. She can only speak single Eng word or broken Eng but perfect Chinese. Once, I told her to write down what I should buy while I was driving, I discovered she was not able to write Eng. She cannot read Eng neither. (Be careful! Some Sing people can speak Malay and the maid might speak only Malay while she was working in Sing.) It is better to talk to her former employer to ensure your future maid is English speaking. (Actually, the maid's passport is usually brand new and there is not any evidence showing she has worked in Sing before leaving for HK)

我第一個工人曾在星加坡工作過兩年,英文程度一般,溝通都冇乜問題,平時同佢溝通又中又英,有時唔想比99知道,就同佢英文溝通.因為佢在星加坡做得好辛苦,間屋好大,所以佢一來到做野,都井井有條

我好滿意

不過你要問清楚工人在星加坡屋企係要做什麼?我知有些工人只負責做家務,另一個照顧小朋友,分開做唔同工作.

D 英文尚算ok,不過d態度有時都奇羞,明明自己做錯野都唔認仲要black face 對住你, 仲有成日話屋企多野做,lazy 到暈.

我個都係singapore做左2年,英文都ok,但反而有d好淺既英文佢就唔識喎 ?-( ?-(
初初黎到都覺得佢唔錯,都算有禮貌,但所有野都唔可以維持得好耐,依定係我到做左8個月,還晒錢,就露出真面目喇,叫佢唔應你,話佢就對你黑面,有野唔做,等你自己去做,又成日話唔記得,好似今日咁,平時我帶飯返工,佢就朝朝會拎定出黎比我拎走,點知今日我出門口既時候佢都唔拎比我喎,我同個女講媽媽走喇(平日佢會抱起個女跟到我出口),點知佢全無反應咁坐係度,真係好嬲,嬲到好大力關門...我都費事話佢,我依家睇下炒佢要做d咩,話都唔話佢知要炒佢,睇下你叻幾耐

Mine Yan Yan is from Singapore as well, she can speak and write simpe English, becuase er employer in Singapore is Indian, can speak Malay. Up to now is hard work, hope she will keep like this even after 7 months.

She told me that some of her friend just go to Singapore for travelling and their resume will said they have experience in work in Singapore, BE WARE

我全部印都require有singapore working exp，some are good some are not，但我同佢地係communicate all in eng，so far問題不大，最緊要係個人操手及工作好，英文not a must!

第一次請印傭, 佢有4年半新加坡經驗, 因為以前用開菲傭, 所有家規和working manuel都是英文, 初到步諗住解一次俾佢聽, 點知佢一口氣讀哂俾我聽, 無食螺絲, 完全明白, 令我好surprise!

講方便都無問題, 佢用的字眼, 例如家具和用品, 重正確過以前賓賓, 以前賓賓, stool, 摺椅同 chair, 都一律叫 chair, 枉佢重係Bachelor of Elementary Education.

上手快, 煮食算ok, 因我家只煮簡單食物.

會唔記得嘢, 不過佢只係嚟咗3個星期.

最重要係態度好, 唔知會唔會keep到完約?

So far so good啦!

My maid worked in Singapore for 2 years. Actually, her English is better than I've expected. I've got some English storybooks for my 9-mths girl and I didn't expect she could read. Amazingly she can read all the words!! She will also take the initiative to sing English songs (I've got song books for her to follow) with my girl everyday. One thing I found most amazing is that my girl showed me how to "clap hands" and "wave hands" (hello/bye-bye) one day when I returned home. My maid taught her all these things. I am quite happy with my maid so far.

my maid work for a Chinese family in Singapore for 3 yrs.

she take care of a 7 yrs old Singapore boy . so she learn most of her eng from that boy and can speak good Eng. she can also read adult's novel borrowed from the library !

hardworking - average, she said most of the Singpaore houses are bigger than HK and the salary is only about HK$1400

hygiene - good. cos she has SARS prevention knowledge learned from Singapore

so far so good but sometimes too smart !

my maid very king woo...........

since when we choosing maid in the agent...we select 2...both of them work in singapore b4....

one cannot understand what we mean...since i ask her: can u drive....she said....yes, i can.........

...........seems that everything i ask she just answer me yes i can....

but this one very good...since i ask her : can u cook japanese food( of course playing her)...she said: no, i can't but u can teach me....i will learn law
she said like that....at that time....we dont know whether this is the standard answer taught by agent or not.......but we chose this one

when she came, we really communicate in english in the beginning.............since she know just single words of cantonese.

but now...she can speak quite good cantonese...sometimes we talk somplicated sentence of cantonese she can still understand..........

she work in singapore for 3 years only..........

我之前個印姐係星加坡做過兩年，超無記性，醒目係唔應該醒目的地方，例如叫佢搵野永世話搵唔到，叫佢幫手拿行李就拿到想跌。同佢講叫佢下次小心d即黑面，"吟"多兩句，打"呵欠"反白眼，好似好唔耐煩。

叫佢唔好再咁無記性，再唔記得扣錢(因已就同一件事提佢5-6次)佢話我咁樣佢唔想做。到最後有一次做好心俾佢去附近銀行還錢(非佢假期)，佢結果由3點去到6點先返來。問佢去左邊，佢堅持話去左銀行。但銀行4點都關啦，叫佢講真話，跟著又話唔想做。我覺得如謂左咁多道理佢都係咁，我都覺得好辛苦，結果如佢所願。

現新印反而無工作經驗，溝通係有少少問題，但態度好好多。

我新舊工人都在星加坡做過2年, 舊印印的英文幾好, 講同寫都ok, 新印印的英文不太好, 但可以讀出簡單英文的句子; 如果只有海外經驗的我會選在"星"做過的(當然你要在電話先同佢interview), 你便會知道佢的英語能力, 起碼佢到港時用口溝通唔到時都可以手寫教佢, 因為雞同鴨講真係會激到我死

完全同意!!!我個印印在singapore做左兩年，依家我請左佢1年零9個月，仲有3個月約滿，但期間我有4次真係激到我想立即terminate佢。我無咁做的原因係因為我太好人了(我朋友話)，我第一次請工人，唔想佢頭7個月白做，都想佢賺返D錢返屋企，加上我個女都算係跟佢(不過我D朋友話：以我個女的性格，個個都會跟喎)所以忍佢咋。

無記性?yes!我要攪到比本notebook佢，寫低晒佢要做的野。態度很差，話佢兩句即黑面; 做錯事唔認，當場發現做錯就唔出聲，又唔say sorry; 過了一排連good morning都唔講，當你死既; 勁駁嘴，你話佢一句，佢「解釋」十句。試過「的」佢上agent度訓話2-3次，個agent都話個工人頑劣及勁駁咀，你話死未。

My new yan also has 2 years experience in sing., however, her english is very poor! She always doesn't understand what I said. I must "show & tell" everytime!!!!!!
