I want to know Plasma or LCD is better?
I heard that Plasma has less 粒子 than LCD, is it true?
Also, I heard that Plasma is more gentle on eyes...is it true also?
If I want a 42" Plasma....is 1042 so much better than 852? Or can you really tell?

It varies from different brands and depends on which LCD Display Panel they use. IMO, within 2 seconds is normal. However, you cannot blame it even it takes more than 3 seconds
For normal user, LCD is absolutely the best choice and value-for-money in terms of price, general performance, power consumption...
But if you're looking for good DVD quality, Plasma is comparatively better...
Resolution figure bigger of course is better.
i have Plasma in living room, and LCD in bedroom, and i was so disappointed with the LCD. so slow in response, not bright enough, poor quality, and it was already a SHARP.
now, i am hoping to buy a 42 or 45 Plasma for my living room.
this will happen to both Plasma and LCD. nowadays many TV stations will minimise the logo brightness, and also my Plasma has a refresh once every hour to reduce the "burnt" effect
Your Sharp LCD TV an old model?
If you compare the new model & old model, the new model is absolutely better than the old one.
By the way, if you guys want to improve the TV signal, you may try to get a Japan "CANARE L5CHD" 75ohm wire. It really works especially when the TV singal is not strong.
