I also DIY the Redang trip. Will spend few days in Langkawi first and then back to KL and change another flight to Kuala Terengganu by MH. Will take Airasia back to KL as the price is much cheaper ( RM255 nett for 2 adults and 1 child). Your airticket is really attractive. I guess you will fly with MH, right? I know that wincastle offers Redang package but it is quite expensive for $5600 per head, including CX flight to KL and Berjara flight to Redang, 1 nt at KL and 2 nts at Laguna Redang.
I look for a 4-day package at Laguna Redang too. The standard room is mainly for divers who spend most of their time under the water and so the deluxe room with whatever view would be more suitable for holiday seekers. As the rates offered by locall agents and the hotel are the same, I prefer to book direct with the hotel and already got its quotation. Being clarified with them on the land transfer. If you get a good price from an agent, do let me know.

Yes I choose MH for travel as it include the flight to Kuala Terengganu and it only costs $1,800 per head. I will stay at the hotel for 4 days, but not confirmed yet as I want to see which is cheaper.
I think I will book the hotel directly, it seems that it is more safety.
By the way, which hotel you will stay in KL, as I have no ideas.
I can't see any prices in the website. The price is very cheap for this Hotel.
By the way, do you know which hotel near the airport as I have to catch my flight 7:30am in the next day. So, I am very headache. Also, I can't contact the reservation dept in Laguna Resort, I sent 2 emails already without any reply. I try to call their office in KL, but also nobody answer!!!! What I contact is the agency in KL.
I have considered to stay one night at KLIA too but my family members are not early birds and hence we decide to take night flight to Kuala Terengganu first. As far as I know, there are 3 hotels near the KLIA and you may find all of them on www.asiarooms.com I think Pan Pacific Airport Hotel is the best pick as it connects to the airport with a footbridge and check-in can be done at the arrival hall.
For Lauguna Redang, I send e-mail to their address and receive reply after 2 days. I have pm my contact with the hotel to you. Hope this help.
For Le Meridien, you have to select KL and Malaysia first and then key in the date for check-in. This is a weekend offer so you may have to check-in on Thur, Fri or Sat. I try to post the link here and see whether it works.
Now I am also booked the Pan Pacific but awaiting their confirmation for both Pan Pacific & Laguna.
For the agent, you can try Wisana, they have a little discount for poolview and seaview room. But it is too later for me as I confirm with another agent.
