i'd similar problem when my son was really small (<6mths old), i checked with the doctor and he suggested the green stuff was likely to be iron...are u feeding yr BB on formula? probably the iron in the milk is too abundant for yr B and he just egests the excess.
i recalled the green bubu only 'stayed on' for a short while.
