as i have read an article which stated that baby plus will hurt the sense of hearing of the baby... so really want to know whether anyone has used it....and the comments for it...
I used baby plus starting from 18 weeks' pregnancy and my baby is now 1.5 month. Frankly, I think it's hard to prove the effectiveness of baby plus because I don't know what will it be like if I didn't use it.
When I purchased it, I have thought that if it's useless (provided that it's not harmful), then let it go. If it's useful (just like what the promotion mentioned), then, it's good for my baby. Even at this stage, I really don't know if this works.
Thanks God that even my baby makes many noise at nite, she can sleep overnight (11: 00 last meal and wake up at 6-7am) at her 2nd week.

ah-ta ,
There's an article about the harm of baby plus? What 's the details? Can you tell me more about it cos I have no idea on it!! Thank you
Could you please forward my response to Mr. Jensen; I am assuming that portion of your email in quotes is part or all of the article in question, and hope the following addresses his concerns:
1. Since most sounds in a pregnant mother's environment (conversation, television, radio, CD, DVD, etc.) reach her unborn child--whose hearing begins at 14 weeks after conception--with only a 30 decibel reduction from passing through abdominal tissue, bone, and fluid, and such sonic activity is present throughout all of her waking days, then all modern babies would be born "aggressive and restless." Worse, what about the mother's own blood pulsing past the placenta 24 hours a day at a peak volume of 95 decibels--loud as a rock band! But just the opposite is true: Heartbeat sounds, and similar rhythms such as BabyPlus produces either put an infant to sleep (about 80 percent of the time while in the womb), or evokes arm and leg movements--as well as regularized ingestion and expulsion of amniotic fluid, practice for postnatal breathing, at the same tempo as the source; moreover, while sleep occurs, fetal EEG shows an unconscious awareness of these rhythms by registering identical patterns in the baby's developing brain. It is simply untrue that the womb is a place of silence: Hydrophone recordings prove it to be an extremely noisy environment all the time; relief comes only after the baby is born.
2. With over 100,000 BabyPlus children born--the oldest group now age 19--showing consistently superlative mental, social, and creative skills, longterm benefits have been verified beyond any doubt by independent, controlled clinical studies (even comparing the effects of music), and published in peer-reviewed academic journals. No signs of unusual nervousness or agitation have been detected.
3. Sensory abilities such as "hearing, sight, and touch" are educational, not biological processes. Dr. Ding will find answers to his questions in any of the professional papers posted in their entirety under "The Science" on www.babyplus.com, as well in my book, Learning before Birth.
If there are further questions concerning BabyPlus, please let me know--or professionals may contact me directly at [email protected].
