想幫一個有cancer的印傭, 唔該比D info

我有一個印傭朋友, 剛發現有breast cancer, 因沒我們多智識, 又人在異鄉, 想幫下佢, 但我又冇處理類似事件的經驗, 想請大家有經驗的人比D info

1. 佢現在只看普通family doctor, 因不想比employer知, 怕被fire, 但大家都知要看專科, 應該去看政府hospital, or private hospital, or private doctor? 因 price 唔同, 政府同私家 hospital 對佢地來說會否價錢差不多?

2. 如employer 知道, 可否fire her?

請多多幫忙, 真的不知点做

she need to tell her employer, the employer cannot fire her, ask her to go to govt clinic for doctor referral to govt 專科. Her employer need to pay for her out-patient and hospital fee, however not include the surguery fee, she need to pay by herself. Her employer may call agent to pay money to settle with her.

Thanks for your info. Probably I will take her to see doctor first and try my best to convince her to let her employer know. Should I go to emergency section first? I will call my agency to check whether her employer can fire her if she know the maid has sick. Any more info?

she had letter from other doctor which prove her had breast cancer, so go directly to govt clinic for referral.

大部分的家庭傭工保險都寫明唔包cancer的，所以一定唔好考慮private hospital，因為要支付的費用不少。通常以family doctor的轉介信便可到所住該區的政府醫院專科。由於是cancer，相信不需輪候太長時間。

所以快d叫她的family doctor寫referral俾佢la ！

請恕我多口問句,此工人為那位僱主在香港做了多久?
如剛上任不久,我諗她早已知道自己有cancer.來香港工作只不過是求醫.
如為僱主做了很久,為何不對僱主說呢?相信僱主一定會體諒.
請恕我多疑.

she can done the operation in HA hospital, the fees is include in daily room and broad.
and if she really get breast cancer she must be tell her employer as soon as possible ,1. caner can't wait,may spread out hold body
2.i think her boss will no right fire her at this moment and i think her boss will not fire her because of she got sick.
but if she done operation in HK who take care her is the main concern,did she had some relative in hk?
because may be need to stay in hospital 4-7 days

外傭保險係唔包cancer,所以一切使費都要由僱主負責,你個印傭朋友唔想俾僱主知,咁係咪佢自己負責醫療費?????除非你好有錢先好俾外傭用私家 hospital ,如果唔係條數有排計bor!~

當僱主知道外傭有癌病係唔可以炒佢,重要負責埋佢醫藥費(無得claim),那僱主還要照顧外傭之餘,還要另外請人工作安排家中事務~

需然那外傭得了cancer是很可憐,但為何她不回老家醫治???起碼有佢o既家人照顧,萬一有乜意外,都有親人響身邊,不會"客死異鄉"~

1.如果工人因病致不能再繼續工作, 僱主可終止合約, 但要按法例補回所得工資. 如工人仍有工作能力可繼續僱用至約滿.
2.工人看政府醫院是in-patient, 按香港居民收費.
