Bank Transfer RMB to HK

Transfer large sum of RMB from a Bank in Mainland China(Personal bank account) to a my bank account in Hong Kong.

What are the methods ?

Is bank direct transfer an option ?

Do i need to open a China bank's account in Hong Kong to get the money ? Easier ?

如果d錢之前唔係經由銀行合法地匯進國內, 不可經銀行回出境. 除非用地下渠道啦.

如果d錢之前唔係經由銀行合法地匯進國內, 不可經銀行回出境. 除非用地下渠道啦.

How about the person convert his RMB first to HKD in his bank in Mainland China ?

Will the banks in China do such currency conversion or not ?

Then can he request the bank to transfer that money to his bank account in Hong Kong ?

my case is my relative moved her saving money to Mainland China in the past, put in RMB bank account in China. A ICBC bank i think

Now what is a safe and easy method to transfer back all her money to a bank account in Hong Kong.

as i think withdraw cash from a bank teller and bring back to HK in several times is quite risky, e.g. robber in mainland china

can i get the card immediately when apply at bank teller or need to wait several days to get the card

can withdraw RMB or have to be in HKD only(auto currency convertion) ?
her bank account in China hold RMB, need to convert all money to HKD first or not ?

每日五千? 仲要收2%手續費.

我朋好公司每月有約一百萬調來香港, 搞左咁多年, 都搵唔倒比地下渠道更好的方法. 如果可以就咁合法地匯來香港, 我估我朋友愿意付0.5%的手續費. 有無好介紹?

中國仍有外匯管制, 匯錢出來很難, 除非有認可的理由, 例如國內人出外旅遊, 移民; 又或企業可憑有效的購貨合同匯款出來買野, 不過所買的貨品必須打進口稅及增值稅.

就連外資機構的員工的工資, 要匯出境都有限制, 所以我公司個個都提現金自已帶落來, 每人每次過關可帶四萬.

you can bring RMB (cash) from China to HK, RMB40000 everytime.

then go to Exchange shop in HK to exchange your RMB to HKD

I don't think a HK citizen can bring RMB cash of 40K to exit China. But if you convert it to foreign currency, such as USD or HKD, then you can bring 5K USD or 40K HKD. But not in RMB tho.

You can ask the China custom next time you go across the LoWu boarder check point.

This is fact. It is what my colleagues alway do. They are frequent China traveller, need to work in China and get RMB as salary.

That's why they bring RMB40K to HK every time and transfer back to HKD in exchange stock.

That's why they bring RMB40K to HK every time and transfer back to HKD in HK exchange stock.

They use this way for more than 2 years and I think tried more than 30 times.

cocopig, have you asked the custom officer in China side? I asked a couple years ago, they told me that foreign currency is Okay (including HKD), but not RMB.

China's policies are always changing, maybe they have changed now. If you have asked, pls update me.

其實佢都唔係話可以從國內帶40K落來, 只係話帶40K上去唔洗報關, 但帶上去的錢可以帶返落來, 所以如果帶40K落來, 俾佢check倒, 就應該話係上去的時候帶的, 無用到, 帶返落來. 原則上, 大陸有外匯管制, 屬于在國內的錢, 如無特別理由, 是不能帶出境的. 國內同胞出境自由行就可以帶40K. 你最好叫你朋友問清楚, 廢事惹麻煩. 我下次如果經開羅湖, 我都會問下, 係呢度複返你.
