如果你係用pccw, 佢有防盜用idd功能......加左個功能就係用password.........不過我唔記得要幾多錢/是否需要錢........不過唔會貴!!!!!

Do you check your IDD bill each month??
if she use your IDD, you will know eventually , right?

then, what is the problem??

Speaking about problem, I've just found my maid called IDD to Philippines from my home line and it is over $2000. Before, we told her if you need to call home, you must tell us (as we didn't set password) and now she called without telling us...I am so angry now.

Now I really agreed that the more flexibility you give them, they will try to challange your guideline more and more!!1

Hi,

Of course cannot let her call the IDD. What happens if she calls the IDD in the last month before she resigns / leaves, then you even cannot deduct the bill from her salary.

I heard most of the cases the maids call the IDD in the month before they leave and the phone bill is a quarterly bill, that means you only know probably is 2 or 3 months after they left.

So please set the password (it is free of charge for PCCW).

yes ar, luckily the phone company called and ask about the charges, hence before we never used any IDD more than $10 - 20 a month, and all the sudden the amount became so big, and also had reaches up to the limit, so that's why the phone company called and confirm.

Already set up the password today lar....just can't believe how can they use 2/3 of their salary on talking and chatting on the phone. Another suprising thing is, when I saw the list of the phone calls, lot of time she chatting the IDD at around 11PM at night, which means she is bring the wireless home phone to her room and I didn't even know about.....
