i think you feed about 7 meals a day, and change a diaper each time before the meal, and sometimes they are wet in between meals, which means you use 7 - 10 diapers per day.
I think used about 5 packs in total (Pampers premium, newborn).

Agree with your friend. No need to buy a lot. Depends on the size of your bb. Mine only wore NB for a few days, then changed to S size. He wore M size from 2 months up to now - 3.5months. Hopefully he may need L size soon.
Also, depends on which diapers fit your BB. Some brands fit others well, but it doesn't mean that they fit yours. Roughly up to now, my BB changes diapers before milk. Nurses at hospital do not change so frequently, but as a mom myself, I prefer changing once it's full, up to 10 pcs a day.

NB diapers go up to 5kg. So it depends on the weight of your bb at birth. Mine is small size bb so he used 7 packs of Pampers New Born diapers before changing to S size. But the mom below only used it for a few days. So, buy 2 packs first. You can always buy more later.

agree, NB 片唔好買太多放在家, 周街藥房, mannings, watsons 都有尿片賣，　唔洗儲太多存貨．到時用唔著，　仲 'side'.
